Every category has a window. It opens when a signal is still weak—a new ingredient, a habit, a rejection—and closes when the signal becomes a trend and everyone launches the same thing, with the same look, on the same shelf.

  • Trend reports are the same for everyone. By the time the trend is published, the window is already closing.
  • AI made competent design cheap—and similar. A brand made automatically looks exactly like the competition.
  • Agencies deliver the form without the reading. Consultancies deliver the reading without the brand. Between one and the other, time passes.
  • Not every trend is useful. Following the wrong one costs as much as missing the right one.

Phase 01 · The reading

Horizon

What is changing in the market and where can my brand win?

What we do
  • Forces of change: economy, consumption, laws, technology, and environment.
  • Weak category signals, with date and arrival horizon.
  • The blind spot between what you believe and the data.
  • Competitors and benchmarks mapped by criteria, showing empty territories.
  • Trends split into three groups: adopt now, experiment, and observe.
  • Brand stress test against four possible futures.
  • For existing brands, an inventory of what to keep, evolve, or discard.
What you receive

Foresight Dossier with where to play and why the brand can win there.

Approval 01

You approve the reading. If it doesn't make sense, you can stop the project here and pay only for what was done.

Phase 02 · The direction

Compass

What is the space only my brand occupies?

What we do
  • Beliefs: why the brand exists, how it works, and what it delivers.
  • The brand's personality and tone of voice.
  • Positioning based on a finding from the reading, not a random idea.
  • Opportunity and hypothesis for the product's format and packaging.
  • The architecture to organize the brand and its lines.
  • Tagline and manifesto definition.
What you receive

The ready brand platform, which your whole team can use.

Approval 02

You approve the direction before the form, with a round of adjustments for alignment.

Phase 03 · The form

Crucible

How does the brand come to life on the shelf to be chosen?

What we do
  • Creative brief with the main message and clichés to avoid.
  • Visual direction chosen by what the reading asks for, not personal tastes.
  • Complete visual identity: logo, colors, typography, and system.
  • If there is a packaged product, the main packaging, from design to final artwork.
  • Name verification with preliminary trademark search.
  • Brand mockups for digital and, if applicable, on the shelf and in use.
  • The brandbook with rules for using the brand.
  • Memorial Kansei: the why behind each choice, in writing.
What you receive

The ready brand, operated by your team without depending on Tekton.

Approval 03

You approve the logo and, if applicable, the packaging. Then comes the final artwork and the delivery of the ready brand.

Evolutionary Roadmap

The map of next steps

Before delivering, we verify if every choice connects with a finding from the reading, correcting any deviations. You take away the Evolutionary Roadmap, detailing what to do now, soon, and later.

Questions

Direct answers
to real questions.

What is the difference between Scout and Foresight-to-Launch?
Scout focuses on a single decision the company faces. Foresight-to-Launch goes from reading to the ready brand, delivering the strategy and visual identity. The scope and deliverables of each project are defined in the proposal.
How long does Foresight-to-Launch take?
The timeframe depends on the brand's stage and the contracted scope. The proposal defines deliverables, stages, and schedule, including approval times for both sides. If the scope or these conditions change, we align the impact on the timeline before moving forward.
Does Foresight-to-Launch include packaging?
If your brand sells packaged products, yes: the project includes the packaging visual system, design, and final artwork for the main product. Final artwork begins when the nutritional table, the legal texts you approved, and the printer's specs arrive. Specialized prepress and printing are not included. Other flavors and formats, and the detailed launch plan, are sized in the proposal. The website is a separate module.
Who from my company should talk to Tekton first?
Ideally, start with whoever participates in the brand decision, like the founder, partner, or marketing leader. If hiring goes through a committee, we organize the method, scope, and delivery criteria to support the evaluation. Project kickoff is agreed upon after the proposal is aligned and there is availability.
What is a brand futures studio?
It is where reading what is coming and building the brand happen together. Tekton investigates signals and changes in the Food & Beverage market, defines a strategic direction, and translates it into visual identity. The reasoning that backs each choice accompanies the deliverables.
How do you read the future?
We observe signals in ingredients, habits, launches, and consumer rejections. A signal is evidence of change; a forecast is a hypothesis about what might happen based on that evidence. When framing it, we make the horizon, confidence level, and verification criteria explicit. AI helps in research; interpretation and decisions are Tekton's responsibility.
What if the forecast fails?
Forecasts involve uncertainty and may not be confirmed. We log the date, horizon, confidence, and verification criteria in the forecasts we publish. Our commitment is to review them in public and explain what was confirmed, what changed, and what we learned. For the brand, the reading must support decisions that can be adjusted when evidence changes.
Do you follow trends?
We track trends and evaluate which ones make sense for each brand. Part of the work is recognizing when a change hasn't reached your consumer yet or doesn't fit the positioning and business timing. The decision considers the category context and the available evidence.
Is Tekton a branding agency?
Tekton is a brand futures studio for Food & Beverage. Our work brings together market reading, strategy, and visual identity. Every decision is accompanied by the reasoning that backs it, so your team can apply and develop the brand with consistency.
What is Tekton Lab?
It's Tekton's authorial studies workshop. We choose a category, investigate its signals, and develop an exercise-brand to show our reasoning, from reading to applications. Firewings, Win, Crivo, and Seinaru are our own studies: they are not client projects or brands launched in the market. Each study's status indicates the work done, without representing a commercial result.
Why only Food & Beverage?
Because depth requires focus. Food and beverages involve unique habits, sales channels, packaging, and consumption experiences. Concentrating our work in this sector allows us to follow its changes closely and connect the brand's strategy with the context in which it will be chosen.
Do you use artificial intelligence?
Yes, as a research and creation tool. AI helps organize information and explore possibilities. Tekton's team evaluates the evidence, sets the direction, and answers for the choices registered in the project.
Does Tekton serve companies from other countries?
Yes. We are a Brazilian studio working exclusively with Food & Beverage, and we are open to projects from brands in other Latin American countries and the United States. The market scope, project scope, and working conditions are aligned in the initial conversation.

will want tomorrow.
